1 Tall Tree - Kraft it Up

I was able to get an entire 12 hours of scrappy time with my dear friend Pam.  In those precious 12 hours, we managed 6 pages.  We'd have loved to accomplish more than that, but I had 2 boys and a husband around.  Interruptions occurred, not to mention, we had to break for lunch and dinner.

These next 6 posts are dedicated to what we did accomplish.

First up was Kraft it Up.  I love using kraft paper, so really, this was not much of a challenge.

My result:

 

The only thing that I don't like about this LO is the picture of the tree.  I wish I had lightened up just a little bit.  I really wanted the shadows made by the Spanish moss so stand out more than it did.

 

As for the LO itself, I'm pleased.

 

I started by using a little black paint and a negative of a small dotted ribbon/paper.  On top of that I layered paper, washi tape and a craft banner.

 

The picture was matted with pp and then part of a felt frame was used.
