I never thought I would have to look in the garage for inspiration, but with this challenge, that is exactly what I did. The 123 challenge at Our Bright Stars and Us required Brown, the word "Create", and the use of tape (of any kind). As I was looking through my paint bin, I came across Frog Tape... yup, green painter's tape. I used it to wrap some chipboard letters. I am pleased with the result.
Sketch inspiration came from Sketch Inspiration #225.
I wanted to try my hand at creating my own flower. I took a 1 1/2 " strip of material, gathered it and made a circle. I then cut the outside edges to make fringe and added the button. I'm okay with it for the first time. Modifications are needed in the future...

Love it! The background paper is perfect for this page ... and I totally love how the "fun" came out with the duct tape! That gives it a great element of texture ... Love the journaling on the strips, too and I think your fabric flower is great! The colors just pop off of the page and I like the circle mat for the picture ... great job!
