And the result...
For the life of me, I can't find my sketch inspiration. I need to give credit where credit is due, but what can I say, but Sorry!
My colors aren't quite as vibrant as the inspiration. I really took to the color palette of the lower left color swatch.
I first used a paper distresser to rough up the edges of the paper and then used water to mist the edges. Using a small paint brush, I rolled the edges of the paper to curl it. Then let it dry. After it dried, I inked the edges.
The large brown circle was a syrofoam cup dipped in paint and kind of smudged around. Also notice the mall blue circle... it contains my fingerprint. My boys loved that!
Comments appreciated!
OMG, I LOVE, LOVE LOVE the fingerprint idea ... totally creative ... I've never seen anyone do that on a page before!! Really love your dictionary definition, too ... the distressing is great, love how the stitching frames the page ... Nice job, Lisa ... love this one! Is it going in 'your' book? If so, what letter??
